I got this in an email from PureMotion and thought I would share:

Wax is a special effects editor that can be used as a plugin for
EditStudio. Wax has a number of powerful special effects
that can be used to do 3D text, 3D objects, 3D motion, particle
effects and rotoscoping. Wax also supports the use of
VirtualDub and DirectX plugins, providing a wide range of tools for
    your video work.

Using Wax is just like using any other EditStudio effect - simply add
the Wax effect from EditStudio's Media Explorer into
your project to use it. The Wax effects are hugely configurable, so
once you've opened the Wax interface you have a large
amount of control over how effects are used and their settings. Wax
effects are layered (like EditStudio) and can be
    keyframed.

Wax can be downloaded for free from www.debugmode.com and you can
find some tutorials to get you started at:

Hope is the trap the world sets for you every night when you go to sleep and the only reason you have to get up in the morning is the hope that this day, things will get better... But they never do, do they?
