  3. Yep but it doesn't work like a digital VCR. Now I can record shows at 2am without having to let VirtualDub capture all night long (let alone fill up the hard drive and end up messing up the AVI... I've noticed if VirtualDub fills your entire hard drive with an AVI, the AVI will be out of sync (at least on my system) and that feature on VirtualDub that sets a limit on AVI size doesn't seem to work for me).

Actually I purchased AVI_io and it is a great capture proggy. However I have been playing around with this
http://www.iulab.com/index.shtml (this is available in the TOOLS menu)

It has a really good capture programe that actually works properly with windows XP, has a timer and a Tuner built into it. The site also has some generic BT878, 848 drivers that work excellantly under windows XP

actually mike it does http://www.geocities.com/sssoftfil01/eigene/VD_start1_5/vd_start1_5.html but i think you have to do a litte math and set it to star in 5 hours insted of setting it to start at 2am. I havn't messed with it yet tho. I was thinking about buying it but i started having problems with it. so i just have my wife start it for me when am at work. She really is the best timer in the world!
