    vfapiconv accepts dvd2avi d2v files directly ...

    procoder works with these files - no problems

    i just tried it - to make sure

    though procoder 2 also will accept vob files and load them all automatically .. and accepts ac3 and dts audio also

    Thanks BJ, actually although Procoder recognizes the VFAPI file, it accuses an "error" when loading;

    I've realized that, after installing DGMPGDec, it messed up DVD2AVI and the D2V files created by DVD2AVI became corrupted;

    As far as I've read, it'd be better to quit DVD2AVI and use only the other new one

    Anyway, the D2V file it created + VFAPI was recognized by Procoder, but it returned an error

    Well, I'd like something really simple, frameserving is OK, but using two programs for that doesn't sound cool

    I think I'll stick to DVD2AVI plus TMPGEnc anyway;

    But I admitt I am very annoyed by Maestro error, I cant understnad why it accepts a WAVE file and doesn't accept two AC3 224 kbps files

    Really annoying, it's a shame cause I only know to use it, don't have time now to learn other tools and of course it's very powerful;

    Thanks,

    Zetti

    Hi all again,

    It's a shame to inform you that, even after re-encoding at low bitrate, Maestro refused to author it accusing high bitrate (more than 10.8; whih is an absurd);

    It has problems with the different audio streams;

    Well, I'll trhink I'll look at another sw soon;

    Thanks to all,

    Zetti

    Freestyler, I tried with one PCM stream and it worked, I'm sure at this point it's not actually a problem with high bitrate;

    BJ, my version is 2.915a;

    Well, I feel bothered, likely to give up

    Thanks to all that replied;
