Would be helpfull if you at the very least told us what the hell program gave you that error.

Please DO your best to describe what type of file you got the error with ... give us all the details of that file (format, resolution etc.) and exactly what you did in TMPGEnc that gave you that error etc.
Lot's of people here willing to help ... really ... but can't offer any real help without a lot of details.
