  1. i got this cd image in bin cue, i used a virtual drive to load the image then copied the .mpg from the vcd image to my pc, now i want to convert the mpg to avi, but when i use vdub or tmpgenc, i get an error that says format is not supported, what other way can i change this from mpg to avi?

  2. Why are you trying to convert the MPG to AVI? What are you wanting to do with the video... edit it or something like that?

  3. If its a VCD it was a DAT file, it should be converted to mpeg with VCDGear, or extracted with isobuster. If its Mpeg2/SVCD you can frameserve it with dvd2avi before opening it in tmpgenc. VirtualdubMpeg2 can open mpeg2 files, its better than virtualdubmod in my opinion.
Edit: third time, now the vdubmpeg2 link MUST work?
