    I need to join two .avi files that have AC3 audio, and my current program, AVI Joiner, is not functioning properly when I load the two files in... could anyone recomend a program to join the two files, and allso I need to cut like 5 seconds off of the begining of the second file, what program could I use to do that... ?

    Try virtualdub, it's the best video editing program (last version 1.5.10 available on http://www.virtualdub.org )

    Virtual Dub cannot handle AC3 audio while in files...

    AFAIK virtualdubmod can.
