  1. Apologies in advance if the answer to this is already out there - I've been searching for days and I couldn't find it...

I d/l an .avi which has ac3 audio, so I demuxed the ac3 using Virtualdubmod and then encoded the video file using TMPGEnc. I authored the files back together with TMPGEnc DVD Author and burned them to disc however the audio is now @2 seconds ahead of the video.

I can play the original .avi using WMP on the PC and the audio is in sync. When I play the authored file on the PC the audio is out of sync, so the sync error seems to occur during the demux/encode/author process.

I also tried to encode the .avi as it is (and do without the 5.1 sound) and I tried saving the audio as a .wav file but these both produced a file with no audio at all.

Can anyone tell me how I can fix this?
