Convert PowerPoint to DVD

How can I convert the contents in PowerPoint to .avi so that I can author a DVD and send it to my friend to see it without using a computer?

Well, I'll try to start you off: download Microsoft Camcorder from the link on this page:

http://www.ptcuser.org//rugs/U52/downloads/index.html

or you can copy it from the Microsoft Office installation CD-rom. This program will record screen events and create from them an AVI file which can then be further diddled with. Good luck.

PS: Microsoft Camcorder only runs under Win95/98...
