Hi, I was having a look at Premiere Pro, and tried to do some offline editing, but have failed misserably, and would like to know if anyone out there knows how to pull it off.
I have done it quite successfully in Premiere 6.5, Essentially I create two directories with all of my video clips mirrored in them, but one is a set of high quality videos, and the other is low quality. I can then edit on the low quality clips, and when finidhed, I simply need to rename the directories for the High Quality clips to be used instead. All one needs to do is then change the project & export settings and you're done.
When I try this in premiere, I find that the High Quality videos don't scale in size, and you can't change a project's settings. There also seems to be problems if you have mono soundtracks (for low quality clips), you can't change it to stereo for the high quality clips.
Any help would be greatly appreciated
