  1. Hello!

I imported video through Canopus A/D bridge using iMovie(3.03). I then exported the file as a QTmovie... when try to use ffmegx (0.0.9h) to change to avi I get this:

    Input #0, mov,mp4,m4a,3gp, from '/Users/temp/Desktop/SSOVA4v3.mov':
    Duration: 00:26:46.8, bitrate: 8317 kb/s
    Stream #0.0: Audio: pcm_s16be, 44100 Hz, stereo, 1411 kb/s
    Stream #0.1: Video: rpza, 720x480, 29.96 fps
Codec type mismatch for mapping #0.0 -> #0.0

Why is there a codec mismatch?? I wouldn't think anything from iMovie or QT wouldn't be compatible... What file format/settings should I choose from iMovie if what I originally did is wrong please?

    Thank-you!

Haven't tried ffmpegx for conversion described, but if I remember correctly, QuickTime Player (at least Pro version ) has option for exporting to AVI.

Because the audio and video streams are inverted in your file, so you're ending up trying to convert audio to video. Use the "invert mapping" option in the audio tab.
