    A friend of mine has this problem: Qhwn she tries to oepn a movie file it says she needs to install Divx 5.0 Codec and she already installed 5.1.1 on her pc, what could be the problem? Thank you in advance for any help that any one provides.

    Has she tried uninstalling the DivX codec and installing it again? Maybe this will clear things up and VirtualDub will recognize it.
