  1. I have this film I wish to convert and for some reason neither Tmpeg or CCE is able to convert it ! Bear in mind I have converted many , many films to vcd/svcd , I just cant figure out why this isnt working. Plays fine in windows media player and GSPOT gives the following readings

    Codec - xvid (2 compatable codecs installed)

    When I try and encode with tmpeg is goes thru the motions but nothing is showing up on the tmpeg screen and the end result is a file with no audio or visual.

    Anyone got any tips ?

  3. Nice one Tommy - heres what the problem was !

    Try first to change the directshow codec reader priority settings in TMPGEnc under Option->Environmental settings->VFAPI plug-in and right click on the DirectShow Multimedia File Reader and increase the priority to 2 or to the top of the plugin-list and try reopen the video
