Well i am working with a band to create a music video that they are going to sell. I've already figured out that a regular CD may not be able to hold what i want to do. So, i need to create the video and put it on a DVD. I am on a Mac computer with FCP HD. First, How should i export my finished video to keep the highest possible quality. Then, once my video is finished exporting, what program should i use to make a professional looking DVD? I'd like for it to have the menu's and everything else...Thanks in advance.

I think you'll get better answers in the Mac forum, so I'll move it there.

The Uncompressed 10-bit will probably keep the most video information, but if you plan on going to DVD anyway, MPEG-2 will make the most since.

DVD Studio Pro is the best DVD Authoring program hands down. It'll allow you to customize every aspect of your DVD.

You should add a DVD-ROM section that has an HD (720p or 1080i) version of the music video, if your camera supports it. Adding that with DVDSP should be easy.
If it isn't broken, take it apart and find out why.
