I am trying to burn a VCD for my RC5215P DVD player. I've used Memorex CD-RW 700MB and burned on 4Xspeed and 2Xspeed using Nero and VCD Easy. I've also tried Fuji Film CD-RW 650 MB 74 minute. From what I've read in these forums, this DVD player is picky about the brand of CD-RW it reads but several people said they had success with Memorex. I know if doesn't read CD-Rs. Can someone e-mail step by step what I need to do to get something to play on the DVD player. I intend to buy a different one at some point but I'd like to stick with this one for a while longer. Any help would be appreciated.

did you check these comments?

a lot of people have left comments on your player, maybe you can contact one of them to get specifics on that player -
Well looks likes this DVD reads the same things my Sony DVP300NS read, reads nothing just original DVDs and original VCDs and Original CDs, alhough I had success with VCDs on RW discs. Hell my sony doesnt even play slightly scratched original DVDs although it can read DVD-R backups (only if you havent scratched them).
My advice buy another DVD player for about $60.00 or $70.00 see whats in the market first and consult in this web page their pros and cons and use the oldone somewhere else in the house or sell it.
