  1. I just bought Pinnacle PCTV Pro card a few days ago. Installation is fine, but the problem is when I tried to capture video using DVD format, the CPU usage is 100%. And sometimes the whole system may restart by itself while capturing in DVD format. I don't think that's normal. Even for VCD capture, it's around 35% usage.

My PC hardware are as followed:

    MSI K7N2 Delta motherboard
    AMD Athlon XP 2600
Samsung 120GB ATA HDD with 8MB cache
    Kingston 512MB RAM
    ATI Radeon 9200SE graphic card
    Pinnacle PCTV Pro TV card

Is there anything I should set? Please advise. Thanks!

  2. Since your post has not been answered yet I will take a stab at it.
If you do not get helpful answers here, try the Pinnacle
support forums. Have you tried changing the slot you have
your card in? What about downloading the latest patch updates
    for studio 9 ?

  3. Make sure your drive has Use DMA enabled under Control Panel ---> System ---> Disk Drive in Win 9x/ME or Control Panel ---> System ---> IDE/ATA ATAPI Contollers ---> Advanced Settings in Win XP (2K?).

Also make sure your new drive has UDMA 5 (UDMA 100) or 6 (UDMA 133)enabled in your computer BIOS. Check your HDD docs to see which your drive is.
