You'll find signs like that in the middle of nowhere.Originally Posted by flaninacupboard
The similar sign I saw (depicting a cow pushing over a car) was on the South Australia / Queensland border when I was at a gas refinery and they were the only thing around for a few hundred miles. A short drive for them was 2 or 3 hours minimum.
80% of people living in Australia would never encounter a sign like that. Plus you Brits seem to love swimming in those creeks with the "DO NOT SWIM HERE - CROCODILE INFESTED WATERS" signs.![]()

And you've all seen the Croc Hunter movie so you're all qualified to deal with a croc attack.

how bad would you feel if the poor guy suffered from them all?
-
Offline lives down the street from me at Ramsey St so I know he doesn't suffer those ailments.
I'd laugh mostly though if he did. Then be a little freaked out. -

oh, didn't know you guys knew each other.
it at the pig shooting carnival? or were you with us catching baby crocs
from the yarra that time the babies Mom turned up and took that
guys arm clear off. That was sooo funny! Remember we were
throwing stuff at the croc to get it off and that idiot whatisface, from
the rowing club, threw his bloody dog in. What a laugh! Can't wait for
summer! -
You still on for kangaroo shooting on the long weekend?
-
Is it this weekend? I'll ask mum - kinda forgot
I still owe you for that time you sneaked that can
of Big Sister's self saucing chocolate pudding into the fire.
I still remember the howls and screams as we ran around
in a hail of molten hot sauce. I know it was you because
you and Chrissy were the only ones undercover when
it blew! -

I never saw signs like that in AU. Of course I was in Sidney the entire time. I did see a strange sign that showed a wheelchair on a dclining ramp with an open crocidile's mouth at the bottom. I thought it was saying, "Beware, handicapped Man eating croc at bottom of ramp". I'll see if I can find the pic and post it. -
