    i am trying to make some .gifs out of videos, the problem is i don't know the software to do this from. i have no problem buying the software, but i wouldn't want to buy the wrong one. Anybody know how to do the .gifs?

    or how to convert a mpeg or avi to a gif?

    Ulead GIF Animator works fine for me.

    I use Ulead also, but I think Adobe Premiere will also do this...there are a bunch of them.

    You could PM (personal message) "Andy1", I think he uses something different. Just search "Andy1" to find him.
