Anyone have trouble decrypting specific titles?

Using DVD Decrypter / Shrink and the only titles out of 60 I can't get to work on Decrypter are Road to Perdition and Drowning Mona.

What's up? They both just stall out on Decrypter - I tried successfully with a bunch of movies, came back to those two and they still don't work. Any ideas?

You may want to try playing them on your pc before ripping. Use a dvd playback software like windvd or ulead dvd player. Then rip in FILE MODE with DECRYPTER, then use DVD SHRINK to compress.

No dice, I played it for about 10 mins on my PC and then tried again - still hangs at 46% on Decrypter in File mode.

Are you using your dvd burner to rip? I see in your computer specs you only list a Sony dvd burner. It could be those 2 discs are scratched or something and the burner can't read it through the end. If you can try it on another dvdburner or dvdrom like a friends pc or something.

Yeah I am using my burner to read and rip. The thing is, these are both brand new discs.... i ripped a couple that were pretty shady looking and they came out fine.

dunno then what could be the problem. if their brand new perhaps you can take it back and get new ones.

DVD Shrink also works with play while ripping trick. May want to give it a try.
