Anyone know how to get TMPGEnc 3.0 to accept odd number values into the crop filter settings?

I have a video with some small letterboxing top and bottom. It is 3 pixels at the top and 5 pixels at the bottom. Try putting those values into TMPGEnc 3.0 though and they get rounded to 4 & 6 and nothing I do will get it to accept 3 & 5. You can have any combination of even numbers you like, but odd ones... no way!

are you using the wizard? try setting it up manually - the output Mpeg has to be an even number so the wizard is probably trying to be "helpful" by not allowing you to crop an odd amount

Nah I wasn't using the wizard. I'm doing everything 100% manual setup. I'm not overly impressed with this new version. It has obviously been designed to expand it's market by making it more user-friendly, but unfortunately in doing so they've crippled some of the usefulness of v2.5.

After spending an eternity familiarising myself and adjusting everything just as I wanted it I finally clicked the ENCODE button and all I got was an error code telling me the file type was not supported.

This first release appears very buggy to me. Back to v2.5.
