Many of them could very well lead back to something like this, if it were true that Panasonic has chosen to make up its own version of MPEG.

There is such a thing as a DVD player that can play divx/xvid files. If you click the link to the left that says dvd players you'd see a wide range of them. And YES, they can hook up to your TV!!! I'll even LINK you to the page. Mpeg4's quality/compression ratio is much better than any of kwags formats.
