  1. Hi all !
I'm trying to capture some satellite tv using my s-vhs recorder (jvc svhs hr-s2915U ) by going through the s-vhs cables connected from my satellite reciever to my television. The svhs recorder has an s-vhs spot in the front, and a svhs at the back. What i tried was going from the reciever to the front of the svhs player, then from the back of the svhs player to the television, but it will not work. Am i doing this setup right? Or is it something to do with the settings on the svhs player itself?

  2. I have the JVC 3911. There is a menu setting to specify whether the default is Composite or S-Video, then channel set gives Line Front or Line rear.

Mine only has S-video in and out in the rear. BTW, where do you find S-VHS tapes?

  3. You have to make sure you switch the Front AV Input from Composite to S-Video...

Bottom of page 12 in your manual. It's changed through your On-Screen Menu.

I couldnt' get a screen-grab from Acrobat Reader to post you the actual page. It must be protected content or something.
