how do u cut avi files??

ok i have alot of anime avi files, and i want to burn them, but i would like to cut out the intro and outro in my avi, i need a program that is easy friendly.. i know TMPGEnc can do it, but i dont understand YMPGEnc that good.. dont know how to use the cut tool in TMPGEnc

Use Virtual Dub instead. Load the video, select the Mark in point, press the Mark in button. Select the Mark out point, select Mark out point. Press delete. Save under a new file name.

Virtualdub. Mark the area to cut, press Delete key on keyboard. You can only cut at keyframes if using "Video -> Direct Stream Copy", and AVI files sometimes have as much as 10 seconds betwen keyframes, very bad. Anyway, when finished editing it, click "File -> Save as AVI..." or frameserve it to tmpgenc (File - Start Frame Server..)
