I was looking at "How to make a monster". This movie uses a state machine to figure out what goes on in the menu.
One of the menus is a screen asking if you want the full-screen or the wide-screen version.
To reverse engineer that section IFOedit has the DVD-PLAY function. Which is great. Had it not been for that IFOedit is using M$ DVDPLAY.exe
This player crashes in the menu taking IFOedit down with it. It crashes in many menu's though which really stinks.![]()
Can IFOedit be made to use another player for this function or is it bound to the M$ player?
Do any of you have the same problem as I? I am concerned about this because I know that the m$ player doesn't come with its own mpeg2 decoder but relies on other later installed codecs. So possibly there could be a codec problem on my machine.
