this probably will sound like a stupid question, but can anyone tell me a way to convert wav to m2p?

I thibk ffmpegX will do it, but i'm not abble to get a final file. It goes to ffmpg Export, and in 1second, says ok, but don't create any file.

Do you know a guide, or something that could help me.

Is for reduce the sound file sixe, in a way a can put 4.3 Gb home movie in a DVD. he audio is in WAv and taking me 1.5 GB.

    thank you

It's pretty straight forward. Unless there is a problem with the wav. Open WAV file, choose the quick preset 'audio file to MP2', check to make sure it's set to 48,000Hz, hit Encode. What does the Process Information say about it?

  3. Others probably know more about this than I do, but my suggestion would be to NOT use ffmpegx for this. I've found ffmpegx to be a little finicky with audio sometimes.
There is, however, a program called MoreMissingTools. It's got a tool that's specially designed to transforms wavs into mp2s, and in my experience, it works where ffmpegx doesn't.
    Hope it works for you.
