    Hi,
    Has anyone used Canon's new camcorder Optura 40? I have not read any user reviews so far. I am thinking of buying one. Anyone who has used it please share your experience. thanks.

    I used to have this model.

    I connected the Optura to my cat, and from the cat out to the TV. I used a feline coupler to decode the signals from the cat to the TV. However, the TV began to smell funny and the cat just didn't act right afterwards. So I returned the camera.

    I have been reading a lot about this cam and i think i will buy it i suggest you go to camcorderinfo.com and pricegrabber.com and read users reviews , it has lot of excellent ratings.

    Thanks Gondor, After lot of research/debate I ended up buying Sony's PC330. Just got it today. Hope I will be happy with it
