How can i have my computer shutdown after about 2 hours. Can i make a command and have it executed after about 2 hrs.
I would like to have my PC record for about 2 hours then shutdown and force close close any open program; i am interested in using tools available in Windows

Not sure but I think this is only for XP. Right click on you desktop and select properties. Select the screensaver tab then select power at the bottom. Select the hibernate tab and check the enable hibernation box. Now select the power schemes tab and at the bottom will be a selection for hibernation. Never used it so I don't know how well it works.

Just download Chrono Shutdown if you're using xp, it's really easy to use.

you can use the Scheduled Task utility thats already in windows.
