    I can only display 800/ 600 on my monitor. Most of the dvd authoring programs have to have 1024/768. Is there anything that i can use? And if so.... whats good 4 a newbie at this whole " make a cool menu for my dvd " thing???

    Is your PC a laptop? If not, try to lower the frequency to 60hz with 1024x768, should work even on many old 14 inch monitors.
