    Hey,

    I have got CD-Rom problems. I have got a normal 40x CDRom and a 8x4x32x burner ..

    The CD-Rom doesnt open for some reason, light flashes and thats all. Windows still detects it etc.
    The burner writes fine but wont read CDs anymore.

    I am using WinXP... whats going ON?

    Is their any problems in the device manager? Try checking it first,if that doesnt work, go and delete it from the profile and let XP redetect it, and if all else fails and I really hate saying this, go to the microsoft knowledge base, they could be of real help to you.
