  1. Hello,
I have an xvid video with ac3 sound. There's no problem playing this file.
But I have problem getting the sound on my mpg.
First I've extracted the ac3 sound with virtualdubmod and use ac3 decoder to decode to wave pcm. But the problem is when I play the wave I'm missing 3 seconds of it. The xvid is 65.18 minutes but the wave is only 65.15 minutes. I've tried it twice and twice the same problem.
So I've searched for another way for the ac3 file.
Using besplit, besweet and besweetgui I've made a mp2 out of the ac3 file. But when I want to mux it with tmpgenc after 40mb it stopped saying illigal stream. And I've tried with 2 versions of tmpgenc but nothing works.
And the other thing is when I open the xvid avi in virtualdub or virtualdubmod there's a message: warning: nothing to output Bframe decoder lag.
I don't know what to try anymore as I run out of solutions.
    Can anyone please help me?

Sounds like you have a corrupted file. Try scanning for bad frames with Virtualdubmod and set it to delete bad frames. Save as a new avi with direct stream copy selected in the video menu and start from scratch with the new avi. I should tell you that fixing bad sync doesn't have a very high success rate so good luck.

  4. just save it as an AC3 file, then run it through Besliced to fix it.
then mux them back together with whatever programme you want
