  1. I have a wedding video that is roughly 400mb and I would like to send it to a friend, but would like to know how to create 15mb .rar files using winrar?

I've tried using the wizard that is offered in winrar but for some reason, when giving the movie, and selecting my prefence of files size (15,000), then creating, I'm left with over 300 .rar files. lol.. It's rather funny seeing so many files.

I've tried searching, but could not find 'how to' compress this movie into multple rar files.

    Any suggestions?

    Yeah. Lay off the crack.

    Seriously - what's the problem?
    • Right-click file(s).

      Select 'Add to archive...'

Select 'Split to volumes, (bytes)' dropdown list.

      Choose '15,728,640' from said list.

    Simple.

I think the problem lies somewhere between K and M (Kilo vs. Meg).

Also, don't chunk it up. There's a program that turns your PC into a 1-to-1 P2P. I saw a thread about it over the weekend. I'll link to it later.

EDIT: See how I came through! I created another username, posted over 3000 times, then posted the link 8)

    down there
