Head Cleaning--How often? What to use?

The subject pretty much says it all. Just curious as to what others do. I usually wait until there is some "degradation", but unfortunately this is sometimes "too late" when you capture footage.

as for cleaning heads, i would just use a wet or dry type head cleaning tape. be sure to read your instruction manual to see which type of cleaning tape your cam uses.
