problem with vcd

I'm new here. I used Nero to burn a vcd. I followed the directions, used a mpeg to burn the vcd and it said it was successful in burning it. The problem came when I tried to watch it on my dvd player. It loads and shows a vcd on the screen, but when I try to play it, it always goes to the end and won't play the video. I tried several different methods with same result. with menus, without menues. Can anybody help?

After u add the mpeg in Nero,right click it and check if it is vcd compliant. If not,u need to make it vcd compliant.

If vcd compliant and u can watch it on computer,then it should be media problem. Try other brands of cdr or cdrw. Some dvd players accept cdrw better.
