Help with creating backup cds of my favourite game

Hi I need some help with creating backups of my husbands fav pc game. Its Far Cry we bought it a week ago and want to make backup cds because the original ones have been kinda scratched.
I used A Ray Scanner to check all the cds for the safe method and only the first had one, the other four ones were clear.
So I copied the first one qith Alcohol 120% and did it ok. Then for the other four cds I used Nero and just made copies.
We installed it in our pc, everything went ok. But when we went to play it, nothing happened. Maybe we did something wrong? I dunno.
Is it maybe that the first three cds are a bit scratched on the surface? Any help would be soooooooo very appreciated

What do you mean by "nothing happened"? No error message, no insert cd?

Nothing happened. My husband pressed Play and nothing. No error message no wrong disc nothing.

far cry is protected by Safedisc 3.15.010

Alcohol 120 has copying templates for diff. safedisc versions. you might want to try those, for both reading and writing the CDs.
