Yes, I own the original DVD Workshop and it has many menu templates and allows you to set chapter points where you want. Overall, it is very easy to use.

Thanks! I just got DVD Workshop 2 and noticed it did have menus after I posted, but been gone all day and did get a chance to edit my post.

I think I've found the chapter thing, now just got to figure it out. Any links to DVD Workshop 2 help?

hey...no problem. I used to use that guide alot when I used DVD Workshop...and when I saw that it wasn't there anymore, did a little digging. I wonder which forum to post about a link in the guides not working any more?? At work right now, so can't play around too much on here...

Well, I read through those tutorials and didn't see anything about creating chapter points...hmmm. Saw the menu's and all.

I dumped my video from my Sony Mini-DV camcorder onto my pc using firewire and Pinnacle Studio 8. I used the DV-Mpeg capture and captured it straight into mpeg format. So, looks like I've got just one long video file and that's why I'm trying to create chapter points. Otherwise, I have to fast forward over to anything I need to see in the video.
