    Hi
    I have made a dvd from a avi file and everything plays ok but it is in cinema scope, as I no-longer have the avi file is it possible to change the dvd ie re-author to show full screen then burn the results onto a new dvd.

    ps. tried tv settings but I only get cinema scope or smaller.

    It's not worth the effort. You will have to re-encode and chop the sides of the frame off to make it full screen. Get a bigger TV if widescreen bothers you so much. It's not going away any time soon.
