    Using ffmpegx version 0.0.9i

    Source is AVI: mpeg4, 512x384, 29.97 fps, mp3, 32000 Hz, 95 kb/s

    It's a 54 minute video.

I tried using the VCD preset with 80m mode-1, and then tried again using the 'Best' button, which established 1137 kbit/s.

clicking 'Time' showed 71 minutes possible
clicking 'Size' showed 697 MB for 71 minutes.

Both attempts resulted in virtually the same final process information:

Tried a few other minor variations, but no difference.

  2. Fixed for release in next version. For now, disable "Decode with mplayer".
