    What do I need to extract video from this camra to my computer? I want to do this so I can make DVDs instead of video tapes.

    You will need a computer with either a fire wire port or fire wire card, and a 4-pin to 6-pin fire wire cable, and a copy of DVIO.

    You will also need the tutorial on how to convert DV to (MPEG) DVD.
