Hi, I installed SimpleDivX and followed the guide by the book. Once I hit start it loads dvd2avi and opens up a preview window (not a good idea though). After few hours the preview window closes, SimpleDivX progress bar is still half way through and nothing else is happening. All programs are running, d2a is still running but consumes no CPU. I left my computer along for more than 12 hours and have no result. Both output and temp folders are empty. What's wrong?

Hi. Suggest doing a search of all forums for Simpledivx. Seems like there are alot of problems. Would sure like to see a post from someone who has been successful. So far, I'm getting the feeling the application is crippled and needs some more development.

Wel, AutoGK also crashes on me and gives this error "An out-of-bounds memory access (access violation) occurred in module 'xvid'." I searched google but could not find a sensible answer. I installed the latest DivX and XVid codecs. May be the source DVD is corrupt. How do I check it and fix it.
