  1. are decoders free? I can't seem to find any to dload without trying the software that they come with.

I was looking ay the cyberlink and lygos decoders, I'm not sure wether I have the latest versions and web searches always take me to a site to d/load there software but never the decoders on there own, I can find versions of them on emule but not sure if there safe or the latest version as I can't find what the latest version is.

    It sounds like you are looking for 'codecs'. They are in the 'Tools' section to the left. Also you might want software players, which are in the same place. Some are free, some are pay. Cyberlink probably uses the MPEG2 codec, and the Ligos codec is also available there.

    The K-lite Codec Pack has both the Ligos and Elecard decoders. I would only install what is needed though.
