  1. Hi everybody

'm not a pro in converting videos. Fist of all I should say I don't know the difference between ASF and WMV, I want something for my website so I can put a small video clip and not for downloading just to open Media player and view the clip (something like download-as-viewing) or maybe streaming the video.

The thing I like to know is how can I convert a Avi to a stream video file for my website which plays with Windows Media Player.

if somebody here could help me with this, I'd really appreciate it. thanx alot.

You can convert using Windows Media Encoder or Windows Movie Maker.

  3. THANKS teegee , that'll do fine for me.

but still another question. When I finished making my clip and uploading it on my site, the user who clicks on it will automaticly luanch Media Player, and view the clip, right?

The can also downloaded for subsequent viewing by right clicking the link and selecting "save target as"
    This is so much fun!
