  1. i have a mini dv camcorder. when i use the ulead videostudio6 se basic, it records the fotage into the Hard drive in .avi format.... it splits automatically into 10 to 15 second each scene which leaves me with a whole lot of .avi clips (one hour's worth) . i wanna transfer the mini dv into DVD . what am i supposed to do after the ULEAD transfer's everything to th pc????

    Transfer with Windv or DVIO and set it to split into larger bits. I'm not sure about your program, look at the settings.

    yeah check your settings in ulead. im not too familiar with that prog, but there should be a setting for scene analyzing or something like that. if not, then i would also recommend DVIO or windv for capturing. both are free and do a great job.
