Has anyone a list of recorders that correctly set the 16:9 mark?
So far I found this:
JVC DR-MHxx: auto. No setup override. Anyone has tried this?
Philips DVDR72: No. I've had this recorder and although it plays
back recorded 16:9 material correctly on this
machine (only), VOB is still 4:3 (tested through DV-in)
Sony RDR-GX7: auto, setup allows override
Toshiba: RD-XS32: auto, setup allow override
Sharp DV-HR300: presumably auto. No setup override. Anyone can confirm DV-in 16:9 works?
