How would you backup a seasonal compilation, such as Friends Season 2, or The Simpsons Complete Season 1?
I use dvdshrink and dvddecrypter, which are the only 2 things working on my computer and burner right now
Is there a way to do this with those programs?
Thanks!

Just use dvdshrink and backup using full disc. I usually take out any foreign audio tracks and subtitles I don't want and let it shrink. When I backed up season 1 of 24 it compressed to about 65%. It looks good on my 32" Hitachi TV and keeps the originals safe.

Ok...but then how do i do it if it needs to become 2 discs?
I was only taught how to do the re-author
Basically what you are saying is that I need it to be compressed if I do the full season discs one at a time? (and can do a regular movie in the non-compressed way if i dont need menu's?)
thanks! -
Maybe its time you leant how to do a full disk backup... If you have mastered re-authoring, full backup is a cinch...Originally Posted by DrewTangDMB

The problem with say, putting half the episodes and the menu on one disc and the rest of the episodes and the menu on another is that you will have dead links on each menu.Originally Posted by DrewTangDMBIf in doubt, Google it. -
