Just wondering, what does StudioDV consist of? I would like to puchase the package, but I already have IEEE-1394 with my system. Do I have to remove/disable that card and install Pinnacle's card or use the current card and put away Pinnacle's? I am a current owner of the DC10plus system, so please tell me my options.
Thank you in advance.

The latest version, Studio DV7 consists of an updated version of the Pinnacle Firewire card and a copy of Pinnacle Studio 7 editing software.
Supposedly you can have as many Firewire cards as you want installed but it's normally not a good idea in case of conflicts etc. If you have a decent firewire card but still think the Studio 7 software would be worth it, you can buy the software in it's own and it should work with your existing card. Check the pinnacle website and forums for confirmation that it will work though.
