  1. Hi , i recently got a few of the Total Training - after effects cd's (bin/cue) and wanted to burn them so they are veiwable. Now what type of cd's are these , because they have small video's .mov's (Quicktime) and also have data on them for the tutorial parts???

How do i go about burning these so that they will boot up and play normaly? I have a dvd writer pioneer A07 so writing these to DVD wouldnt be an issue, also once i tried to convert it with "magic iso" the file came to 1.3GB, i just dont understand how to make it a DVD file to view and also to access the data???

thanks in adavance - all help is extremly appreciated.

Mount the cue file with Daemon Tools. You can burn with Nero by going to File>Burn Image and select the cue file.

  4. sorry bout that i wasnt sure which thread to post it in.

I am still having the same problems, after burning with NERO ( loading up the cue file from daemons tools) it still wont auto play, i have to open it up and it just comes up with the same folder and info file saying blah blah blah you need quicktime to veiw movies etc. ( thats the info file text) not an error

I am confused as to why it's doing this? shouldnt it just auto play and start the training cd?

We both know this isn't an original disc so it could be that the autorun file wasn't done properly. Why don't you just run the executable?

  6. Firstly thanks for your help

well thats just it there isnt an executable. I have just searched all the content and it is all the sub folders and just the note pad text. Is there a way to make it autorun? ( keeping everything intact like the original?)

  7. as per the error message, you have a disk with Quicktime videos on it. You will need to install the Quicktime player in order to use it.

If there's no executable you're pretty much boned. All you can do is play the movies individualy with Quicktime.

Then again if you don't have Quicktime already, maybe installing it will allow the thing to run correctly.

If you don't already have it I would install quicktime player on your system and see if the files will play. If so TMPEGENC 3.0 express will import quicktime movies to re-encode. free trial might be worth a shot.

I'm pretty sure he just want's to get the thing to play. Converting would probably be counterproductive.
