    What is some of the more popular software for capturing and editting from a dv camara and converting to vcd?

    'Transfering', I would recommend Windv, DVIO, ScenalyzerLive. Editing, simple, Virtualdub with a Panasonic DV codec. Better, you have a large choice, dig through the 'Tools' section.
