  1. This is the message I get while trying to compile my DVD.

DVD Lab 1.3 does not say which of the movies in my project is causing this error and I am not sure how to go about fixing it. If ne 1 can shine a light on what is causing it I would be very grateful. Thx ppl

  2. We need more information. What is your source?

It's possible one or more of your videos has VBR audio. If this is the case you may want to look here.

  3. Thx 4 the reply m8, soz bout being a little vague, I did some tests and nailed it down to 1 movie clip which is a trailer from one of my commercial discs

This is what AVIcodec says about this particular vob file
    Video : 91 MB, 9800 Kbps, 25.0 fps, 720*576 (16:9), MPG2 = MPEG 2 (SVCD/DVD)
    Audio : 1.80 MB, 192 Kbps, 48000 Hz, 2 channels, 0x2000 = AC3 DVM [0x80],

Funny thing is, when I loaded it into TMPGenc's "simple demux" the video output showed but the audio output was blank. And when I tried the normal "demux" both video and audio showed up "ticked" in the selection box but there was no info about the audio so if I try and save it TMPGenc doesnt know what to save it as. Any idea's ...Im all ears....Thx

  4. If TMPGENc doesn't work with AC3 without the AC3 plugin. Natively TMPGENc doesn not work with AC3.

  5. Well 1 thing I did forget to mention was that the movie that was giving me jip was put in DVD lab as a motion menu (I had to do this coz it waz a different aspect than my main film). But i,ve sorted it now. what I did was this... I demuxed the vob and even though TMPGenc did not recognize what extension to save it as (I just gave it an ac3 tag). Then I converted it to mp2 with BeSweet and chucked it in DVD Lab with the Vid stream and it gave me no problems. I know I bungled through the whole thing and cant say what the problem was, Im just happy it worked.

I would also like to point out that TMPGenc had no probs giving me the audio info on a vob file (with the same encoding properties) from the same source disc. But until a day comes that I do understand the reasons behind this, i'll just be thankful I got it to work. Thx ppl
