  1. i installed it. didnt like it. uninstalled it. BUT...

    EVERYTIME i load a dvd, it still pops up an annoying nag screen asking if i wanna install it. i thot i uninstalled it?!?! it even still has its icon for my dvd drive when a movie is inserted.

    is anyone else experiencing this? i dont want interactual as my default dvd player, especially since i uninstalled it!!

    please help with removing this! i just wanna get rid of all traces of this annoying program!

    You could always turn off autoplay for your DVD drive. Not exactly a direct solution.

    You did uninstall it. Its the autoplay on the DVDs you are sticking in that are loading the installation program. Most DVDs these days do this. The only solution is to turn off autoplay for DVDs like teegee420 said.

    and yes, autoplay is off.

    it must be some kind of spyware or something..

    I wasn't asking if you uninstalled it, I was pointing out that uninstalling the program has nothing to do with your problem. It doesn't matter what is or isn't installed on your pc, because this is simply an auto function that is run when you insert the DVD. Its the install file on the actual DVD that is running itself, not something already installed on your pc. It happens on any pc that doesn't have autorun for DVDs turned off. You must not have autorun turned off, at least not for DVDs. You can set certain things to autorun and others to not. Are you sure that DVDs in particular have autorun turned off? Perhaps your system is messed up and is still running the autorun script anyway. But its not spyware or any residual files from the previous installation. Its simply running the install program off the disk when it first reads it.
