  1. This is what bothers me: after extraction of a file I got .ccd, .img, .cue, and .sub files. I understand that they all go together on one disk. Or perhaps I'm wrong. What should I do? Thanks for all your suggestions.

What you have is a disc image. If you have Nero go to File>Burn Image and select the cue file, then burn away. If you don't have Nero there are other burning apps you can use such as Alcohol 120%. It supports a variety of image formats.

  7. Thanks, I burned with NERO yesterday but, after installing, the sound was really ugly and distorted like CD jamming. And the .sub was not included when I burned the .cue file (is that why I got this jamming sound?). I guess the question I'm asking is whether all files get burned to the disk or just some of them?

Anyway I'll go ahead with Alcohol, as you advised, and see what happens.

Made with clonecd me thinks (.ccd file) , the .sub file wont show after burning as it contains subchannel data of the ripped cd (used for storing karaoke data and subtitles I think)
Nero should be fine to burn it.
AS for the audio I don't think its a burning issue, you get what you pay for

Thanks, Roderz. I'm afraid the audio story goes like you said.
P.S. Damn, I can never figure out how to make that quote; never seems to for me.[/quote]

Try using the quote button in the person's post you wish to quote. Or do it the long way and type the name like this:
