Well, most say to stick to one brand.
Also, most say to go with either Sony or Fuji tapes, the others aren't as reliable(less glitches, blockiness, ect)
What's everyones opinion here? What do you guys and gals use?
What about tape cleaner? What brand and type?

I have been using JVC tapes in a JVC MiniDV for several years without any problems. Tried a couple of panasonic tapes before I heard about sticking to one brand; they didn't work at all. I kept getting a "heads clogged" error. Also tried a couple of SONY's and they worked fine. The reasons for sticking with one brand sound valid to me, so I would recommend that.

I use Panasonic AY-DVM63PQ...only tapes I've ever used, and I've never had a problem with them.

I use both a Sony TRV38 and a Sony VX2100.
Sony is the only tape that I will use.Geronimo
